L’Aventure Peugeot’s Association, created under the 1901 law, began life in 1982 on the initiative of Pierre Peugeot. It is a focal point for all enthusiasts of the Peugeot Brand and organises an annual meeting which its Members look forward to avidly, having an unforgettable time in England in 2014, in Germany in 2012, in Italy in 2011… These meetings are organised by L’Aventure Peugeot in conjunction with the Subsidiary and the Club of the host country.
2015 will see many anniversaries for the Brand and its enthusiasts to celebrate : the 80th anniversary of the 402, 60th of the 403, 50th of the 204, 40th of the 604, 30th of the 309… and among the 40 Clubs federated by the Association, the 40th anniversary of the Dutch Peugeot Club as well as the 25th anniversary of the Peugeot 204 & 304 Club which was behind the project we are going to present to you… In other words a lot of candles to blow out !
Living up to its dynamic reputation, L’Aventure Peugeot has decided to celebrate all these anniversaries by organising the biggest meeting of the Brand’s historic vehicles at the prestigious Montlhéry track, combined with the annual IAPM international meeting to create “L’Aventure Peugeot Festival 2015”. There has been a long tradition of Peugeot at the world-famous Linas-Montlhéry track since it opened in 1924. Many, such as the 301, the 404, the 304 and others including the most recent EX1, beat records at this track (some of these vehicles are on display at L’Aventure Peugeot’s Museum in Sochaux).
A huge programme – including many surprises – has been organised to take place at the Linas-Montlhéry track on 2 May, 2015 !
All Peugeot owners are invited to take part in this unprecedented celebration of the Brand, either as spectators or as participants.
Concours d'élégance, concept cars, competition vehicles, track parades, rides in historic vehicles, the chance to meet some of the people who have contributed to the Brand’s history, book signings and many other surprises are in store for this historic day.
